This policy explains what personal information Velvetrie Designs ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website or order from us, how we use it and the choices you have. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Order details: name, mobile number, email, delivery address, pincode and what you bought.
- Payment details: payments are processed by our payment partner (such as Razorpay). We never see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Website use: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited. Your cart and wishlist are saved only in your own browser.
How we use it
- to process, ship and track your order, and send order updates
- to handle exchanges, returns, refunds and questions
- to issue GST invoices and keep the records the law requires
- to send offers and new arrivals, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- to prevent fraud and keep our website secure
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed with:
- courier partners, to deliver your parcel
- payment partners, to process payments and refunds
- service providers who host our website or help us send messages, under confidentiality
- government authorities, when the law requires it
We never sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually 8 years). Other information is deleted when it's no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for marketing messages. Email info@velvetriedesigns.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Some information may be kept where the law requires it.
Security
We use secure (HTTPS) connections and trusted partners, and limit access to your information to people who need it to serve you.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 without a parent's consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
